AN OFFICIAL HOLDEN RELEASE
The first all-Australian Holden vehicle was proudly unveiled in 1948 ‐ and Australia was rapt. The 48-215 sedan cost the equivalent of 94 weeks' wages, and yet the company still could not satisfy demand when it was released on the market. Ever since then, Holden has been synonymous with Australian culture.
More than just family cars, Holdens formed the backbone of essential services ‐ from the WB 1 Tonner Ambulance to the Post Master General's FJ Panel Vans. It's these classic vehicles that are showcased in the Holden Workhorses Enamel Penny Collection, brought to life with full-colour enamel.
STRICTLY LIMITED EDITION
This official Holden collection is a strictly limited release. Just 5,000 full collections will be issued worldwide! For this reason, we recommend you don't delay your order.
ON GENUINE AUSTRALIAN PENNIES ‐ FINISHED IN GOLD
Original Australian pennies form the perfect canvas for these nostalgic designs. Issued until the introduction of Decimal Currency in 1966, the penny was considered as Australian as the kangaroo on its reverse! These coins were issued during the reigns of King George V, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II. Your coins may bear the portraits of all or any of these monarchs ‐ portraits of our choice. Each penny has been finished in 24-carat gold, giving it a beautiful, timeless lustre.
GOOD ENOUGH TO GIVE AWAY
This set would form the perfect gift for any lover of classic Australian cars. The coins showcase eight vehicles, with a ninth honouring their service to Australia. All nine coins are housed in a stylish presentation case and accompanied by an individually-numbered Certificate of Authenticity. The case itself arrives housed in an illustrated outer box ‐ ready to wrap!
