HOLDEN HZ SANDMAN PANELVAN
LIMITED EDITION OF 950 PIECES - ETA June 2019
Biante Model Cars are pleased to present the 1:18 Scale Holden HZ Sandman Panelvan in the amazing Windsor Blue colour scheme.
The Holden Sandman is a car that is uniquely Australian, representing our free spirited and beach loving surf lifestyle that was at the height of its popularity during the late 60s and early 70s. Available in a range of striking colours and bold decal options, the Sandman quickly became a fan favourite for the Australian public and has since become somewhat of a cultural icon, something that not even Holden would have dreamed of when they released the original HQ in 1974.
The HZ represents the last series of the Sandman produced commercially for sale between 1977 to 1979. Released with a V8 engine and Radial Tuned Suspension as standard and features such as bucket seats and GTS components including the dash, steering wheel, rally rims and front lower scoop, the HZ has since become one of the more popular Sandmans to have been released.
The Windsor Blue is an amazing looking colour scheme and suits the Sandman body shape beautifully. The now familiar side stripes and iconic Sandman lettering on the tailgate all combine to make this a very impressive example of this famous Aussie car. It should also be noted that this will be the first HZ Sandman model we will produce featuring the Buckskin interior which provides a nice point of difference to previously released Sandman’s from us.
Produced in high quality die-cast with opening parts and a detailed engine, interior and high quality finishing, this is an exceptional model car, it’s one that shouldn’t be missed by classic car fans.
Please note: There are no surfboards featured with this model like previous Sandman van models.
