Biante Model Cars are thrilled to release the below long-awaited models:

A72796 - 1:18  FORD XB FALCON GT SEDAN - YELLOW BLAZE
LIMITED EDITION OF 1002 PIECES

(Brand new composite tooling - Fully opening parts)

We are proud to finally present this model to our very patient collectors so they can add an integral piece to the Ford Falcon GT collection.

In September 1973, Ford introduced its updated XB Falcon, an evolution of the 1972 XA. The GT featured the now locally-produced Cleveland 351 V8, four wheel disc brakes all round and colour keyed bumpers as standard. The XB featured much cleaner lines than its predecessor, with the more aggressive nose including the ‘egg-crate’ front grill. Around 1950 GT Sedans were produced from 1973 through to 1976, with Yellow Blaze perhaps being the most popular colour available.

This high quality model features fully opening parts, faithfully replicated specific car features based on extensive research including an accurately replicated engine bay, interior, wheels and fine paint finishing.

This also marks a new standard in Autoart’s efforts to provide us with increasingly accurate models. An original car was hand 3D scanned to get the shape as close to original as possible. It also has been replicated in the new composite material which Autoart has been perfecting over the last few years. It allows us to finally bring the XB GT Sedan to the market after what felt like a lifetime of waiting!

It has been produced in a strictly limited edition run of 1002 pieces, complete with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

B12H18E - 1:12 HOLDEN ZB COMMODORE - #888 CRAIG LOWNDES - LAST FULL TIME DRIVE
2018 COATES HIRE NEWCASTLE 500 - GOLD LIVERY
LIMITED EDITION OF 400 PIECES

(Closed Body Resin)

Craig Lowndes' ZB Commodore carried a special new Autobarn livery for the Coates Hire Newcastle 500 - his final race as a full time Supercar driver.

The Autobarn Lowndes Racing Commodore switched to a gold-and-black look for the three-time champion, channeling his early Triple Eight Betta Electrical liveries from the mid-2000s. Lowndes drove blue-and-yellow Betta Falcons in his first two Triple Eight seasons, 2005 and 2005, the latter including a Bathurst victory with Jamie Whincup.

He stepped back from full-time Supercars competition at the end of 2018, but continued in 2019 and now in 2020 as a co-driver for the Enduro Cup races.

Other than the sheer beauty of the size of this model, there are numerous additional features worth noting. They include using injection moulded glass housings for added strength and accuracy, photo etched parts, detailed brakes, wheels, antennae and even the "hamburger camera". Despite the model being produced in sealed body resin (to keep a relatively affordable price point) there has been no expense spared in replicating the interior cockpit too. The interior detail includes full decoration, faithfully replicated seat and painted interior characteristics along with fabric seat harness and window netting.

This model has been produced in an exclusive limited edition of 400, presented in deluxe packaging along with a commemorative flyer and numbered Certificate of Authenticity. It's an amazing collectors piece and one that shouldn't be missed.

These items will be available to purchase online at biante.com.au from 12:00 midday WST (3:00 pm AEDT), tomorrow - Wednesday, February 19th
