Biante Website Releases - Friday March 9

It's a mammoth week of releases with four models ready for dispatch this Friday.

Getting straight into it, our first website release for this week are the two Mobil 1 HSV Racing VF Commodores from the 2017 Supercar season. These are the early season Clipsal 500 versions in the striking full Mobil 1 sponsorship before Courtney and Pye changed to different liveries later in the season.
They are both in extremely limited numbers of 300 for Pye, and 324 for Courtney. So don't hang around in ordering with these 2!

Our third model release for this week is the jaw dropping 1:12 Scale Team Vortex #888 2016 VF Commodore in which Craig Lowndes set the new record of 251 round starts at the Clipsal 500.

There's no denying that Craig Lowndes is one of the most popular figures in Australian sport. With 6 Bathurst 1000 wins, 3 Championship wins and over 100+ individual race wins across his career, it seems fitting that another record was added to his resume at the 2016 Clipsal 500 and his 251st round start. The start of the 2016 season also marked the debut of Team Vortex in the championship after a long and successful stint under the Red Bull Racing Australia banner.

Our last model release for this week is the centre piece 1:12 Scale Red Bull Racing #97 2016 VF Commodore in which Shane Van Gisbergen clinched the Supercars Championship.

All eyes were on ‘SVG’ when he joined Triple Eight Race Engineering’s Red Bull Racing Australia at the start of the 2016 season after a three year stint with Tekno. An undeniably talented driver in both the dry and the wet, the motorsport world were licking their lips to see how SVG would work in a two car team with one of the most successful drivers in the sport in Jamie Whincup. An intriguing battle unfolded throughout 2016 with both drivers taking out a stack of race wins and poles across the season in a dominant year from the team. The season eventually finished in a 1-2 finish in the championship with SVG 200 points ahead of his team mate to clinch his maiden Supercars championship title.
