Biante New Model Announcements: February 2017

We’re very pleased to make our first model announcements for the year and they include some great planned releases in 1:18 and 1:43 Scales.

In 1:18 this month we have 5 new announcements including a first from us, the iconic “Zapsrat” HQ Monaro Top Doorslammer driven by John Zappia. Anyone familiar with drag racing or Top Doorslammers in Australia would be familiar with the name Zapsrat and John Zappia given he is the 9X consecutive Australian Top Doorslammer Champion and is simply an icon of the sport. This is the first drag car Biante has ever produced and it’s shaping up to be a pretty impressive release, it’s one that shouldn’t be missed.

Also to announce this month we have the highly requested Erebus Motorsport V8 Penrite Oils backed Holden VF Commodore driven by David Reynolds and Craig Baird at the 2016 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000. Plenty of collectors have been asking about the chances of getting this model in their collections and we’re pleased to finally be able to announce it in die-cast with fully opening parts other than the boot.

We have a new addition to add to our Street Machine range in the form of the Holden LX Torana SLR5000 in Chilli Pepper Red with Black Accents. Nicknamed “Immolator” those of you familiar with this custom range will notice that this edition doesn’t feature a blown engine or white interior. Instead, we have opted for a different take with this edition and have replaced the stock-standard engine with a modern high performance GM V8 engine and gearbox fitted with bespoke cover and induction system along with a raft of other customisations and a black interior (at the request of collector’s) and to compliment the exterior colour scheme.

We’re also pleased to finally be able to bring collector’s the EL GT Falcon they have been waiting for, the hero Sparkling Burgundy edition which has been highly requested since we developed this model and released the Green and Blue editions. It’s one that shouldn’t be missed and will be produced in a very limited edition.

Our final announcement in 1:18 Scale for this month is the Holden VFII Commodore SS-V Redline in the awesome Slipstream Blue colour scheme which will be produced in die-cast with fully opening parts and high detail. We recently released the Red Hot and Heron White editions of this model and they sold out very quickly much to many collectors disappointment so this is one you should definitely get your pre-orders in for if you’re interested.

Our 1:43 Scale announcements for this month include the previously mentioned Slipstream Blue SS-V Redline along with two iconic VN SS Group A models, the 1991 Holden Racing Team Tooheys 1000 Runner Up driven by Win Percy and Allan Grice and the Mobil backed Larry Perkins and Tomas Mezera entry from the same race. As with all our 1:43 Scale releases, these models will be produced in limited numbers with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity and will be presented in a clear acrylic display case.
